...how is it that the very people who have prospered and benefitted from NOT being in Iraq all these years, are so sure and so dedicated to keeping others IN Iraq?

...For many of the people in America now and dedicated to the mission of AIDS, it was a war that drove them or their parents out. And that war was nothing like this one. Today conditions are much worse and likely to remain that way for a long long time. Yet these same people INSIST that the Christians have to stay there...or no "aid".

If THEY are so glad they left...if THEY never contemplated returning to keep a "presence" in garbia why are they insisting that any "aid" they send will be in the form of rebuilding a well...replacing a roof...building a classroom in the middle of a mine field and a clinic to care for the victims of war...especially since it's a war brought to Iraq by the very countries they pay taxes to and live in and in most cases support in this mad, illegal and most inhumane war?

During World War I people in America who wanted to help at least had the consolation of knowing their country was not the one waging the war against Christians...that it was the Turks or Kurds doing the damage...but today, in this Orwellian world we inhabit, it is the very countries of the American "Assyrians" and Australian "Assyrians" and British "Assyrians" who are waging war...this time it is Christians doing the damage to Christians and everyone else. And, in the majority of the people "helping" Iraq there is a burning conviction that waging war against the people of Iraq was the right, the honorable and the BEST thing to do..in order to "save" them. Naturally they are going to INSIST, against all evidence and all reason that what they are doing too is SAVING the people of Iraq.

One can't help but think the people of Iraq would have best been saved by being left alone.
