..let's say you catch someone (someone you already know is an habitual liar) at two lies...let's say he tells a lie about DeLay and one about Clinton. After much hemming and hawing and hoping you'll go away and stop mentioning it (by such tried and true methods as calling your mother a whore...blowing kisses to your wife and asking about your children) the guy finally decides to own up to onw lie...by inventing another saying he "forgot" or "misunderstood"...and stopping there...never mentioning his other lie...as big and as obvious as the one he thinks he apologized for...what do you conclude? 1. That he is an honest person because he owned up to ONE lie? 2. Or, that he's lying about the lie he apoloigized for...because he's STILL lying!!! 3. Or...that he's a Christian working for a Jew lord? --------------------- |
