Thatīs what almost all nationalist "Assyrians" are. Some of them are showy peasants..like Aprin and that peacock Kakovitch. Aprim is the peasant who compared himself to the village idiots and decided he was really rather bright after all...He is intimidated by real knowledge for it shows how lacking he is in that article...so he dips his nose here and there just enough to pick out what makes sense to him...then he PRINTS it up and has it bound and just like that, he is one with the writers of the world...just ask the rest of the peasants. Kakovitch is the peasant who finds he can afford white pants and high polished shoes...and he thinks he can do the same with words...dress up his unweildly thoughts the way he dresses his body up...so he can appear to be much more than he is. The guy has absolutely no concept of language as a vehicle for communicating SENSE...none at all. To him a word exists all on its own...for effect...for GRAND effect, if he can pull it off. Doesnīt matter if it goes with the rest of the words in a sentence...heīs so damn impressed and relieved he was able to deliver it without doing a permanent injury to himself that he never looks further to see if it MEANT anything...Heīs like the deliveryman who brings you the wrong item but expects a good sized tip anyway because the wrong package was still HEAVY. --------------------- |
