...they really haven`t much to work with...while we have tons and tons and STILL an asshole like Shushan searches all round to find evidence that "Assyrians were crool" and "Gilgamesh was NOT nice"!

Here`s the discussion between Gordon and Rendsberg...

G: Look, we`ve got to write this up quick before they decipher any more of those pesky cuneifrom tablets.

R: Okay. How about the goring bull thing...is there a way we can come out on top with that?

G: Let`s look at the facts...in BetNahrain they had everything under the sun, in Jerusalem they had locusts and honey. Laws...what about laws...surely the Hebrews come out on top where laws are concerned. Let`s compare Hammurabi to Exodus...what can we find?

R: ...over in BetNahrain, if a bull got out and gored someone to death, the owner was not held responsible. In Jerusalem they stoned the bull to death, the first time. Then, if the bull gored someone a second time-

G: What do you mean a "second time"?

R: Well, I guess the dead bull gored someone again...I dunno.

G: How the hell can that be?

R:......ah...a miracle?

G: Right! Good! The Hebrews had more miracles. Go on.

R: So anyway, if the dead bull gored someone else...the owner was stoned to death, as well as the dead bull.

G: They killed the dead bull?

(both): A miracle!

While Jews down to the modern day have worked overtime to puff themselves up, we`ve had Assyrians working just hard to reduce themselves to nothing.
