...those hapless Republicans can't get anything right. They control the government and a good thing too...they can't complain that everyone is out to "get them"...THEY control it all and are busily getting themselves.

The Clinton impeachment and his aquittal of charges will only throw their own lies and deceptions into sharper contrast. Clinton lied about sex...who DOESN'T? The Republicans spent millions of dollars and eight years slogging theough every corner of his life to get the goods on him for more serious "crimes"...and with all of Ken Starr's power, including a Clinton Justice Department that bent over backwards not to appear partisan, they were able to find not a goddamned thing...all they could do was get him on his pecker...something Gingrich, Hyde and oh so many more of them were equally guilty of...and in all fairness, it was a democratic president, Johnson, who lied us into Vietnam...but now it's the Republicans' turn...

Bush is obviously guilty of REALLY "high cimes and misdemeanors" if not Treason itself...let's see the same people who couldn't get enough of a stain on a blue dress care as much for bloodstains on our flag...the blood of thousands and hundreds of thousands of innocent people, Americans included...give the Dems a special prosecutor and let's see where the chips fall.
