In Response To: Viewpoint: Iraq's draft constitution and the ChaldoAssyrians (Johnny Michael)

Dear Jonhn Michael,

Normally I agree with your posts, but this one by Jonhn Youash I find it too primitive to accept. For a man holding an important political position like him, I expect something better than this.

We, ourselves, have failed to unite under a common name, so why should we expect US to get involved? There is no one to blame but oursleves and that means not only Mar Delly, the Kurds but also those who were yelling day and night only Assyrian. This failure is the fruit of their labout.

Bur Hawil

...see there. The boys simply can't admit how unimportant they are...how insignificant. They insist on believing that SOMEONE is afraid of them (mostly because THEY are afraid of everbody)...especially of all ten of them UNITING! The questions they NEVER ask themselves are legion...one of the main ones is, "even if we were all ONE hairy Christian"..what DIFFERENCE would it make"?

...lack of unity is NOT the problem...the truth is that even if they were all unified they could STILL not make a dent in anything anywhere...they are as unimportant a gaggle of Christians as exist anywhere. Their bullshit over this issue is supposed to make them feel, as a consolation prize, that if the ever DID get unified, like if Popeye could just find his can of spinach, they'd be SO tough!
