...an Iraq that kept Sharia law at bay....kept it stored away under lock and key...Christians wore what they chose, dressed as they pleased, worked where their abilities allowed them and even ran liquor stores. The man watching over all of this was a tyrant...not a liberal neo-con. ...the boys who ran to America said this was not good...said this tyrant would not allow them to reclaim Assyria. From somewhere they got the notion, or said they had one, that if democracy came to Iraq, they would get what "they deserved". They begged for war, cheered for war, cried and peed for war. They rejoiced when the tyrant was gone and all but came unglued when they could VOTE. ...somewhere out there there are boys who believe this was best....who are somehow able to overlook the fact that the beast of Sharia is loose upon the land...that Christians are beaten and forced to wear clothing they never wore before...that as their women are humiliated and beaten in public for expressing their human right to individual choice, they will be forced to their knees before a Muslim Sharia Enforcer, while carrying their "proud Assyrian name" down to the gutter with them...and this is progress. The boys will now manage to overlook all sorts of indignities and injustice which never existed before...they'll cite reasons for "hope" in the application of Sharia Law where they saw nothing but cause to weep when there WAS none. ...while the condition of the Christians of Iraq sinks lower and lower, the hopes the boys have in the future will rise ever higher. Can anything make it clearer that their only real interest all along was to make all of Iraq bleed? --------------------- |
