...that's all it is. It's one of things we jump in on the middle of...accepting all sorts of politically correct notions mostly gotten from Hollywood movies about how you can get anything useful out of someone...although the hero is always shown resisting to the end...no one has presented an actual scenario wherein someone got something useful..the more horrible the threat of torture and the use of torture, the more you'll get anything and everything the victim thinks will spare him or her.

To use torture against people as a way of HOPEFULLY getting something out of them is ridiculous...and Christians know this. What they're really doing is adding torture as another weapon of Terror they can use against people in the hope of cowing them into submission or getting them to rat out partisans and Freedom Fighters. It too will backfire...that is, it's only really a backfire if you assume the United States DOESN'T want more Muslims pissed at us...in reality it may just be the success they're looking for...an ever growing number of Muslim fighters who can justify the calls to "defend America at any cost", that this administration is counting on.

To say, "what if a suspect knows the plans for another 9/11 attack...wouldn't you want him tortured into divulging the plans so we can save lives"? The simple answer is: Since when has America cared about saving ANYONE'S life? And...the whole point about the uselessness of terror is that you have no way of knowing about another "plot"...all you'd have is the SUSPICION that this person or that person...or 400 people MIGHT know something about SOMETHING...so you'd have to torture them all on the chance that one of them actually knew about a plot...which makes it merely an instrument of Terror with a clever cover story.

Go get em America...and watch if your barbarity isn't matched every step of the way....it seems we'll get Armageddon no matter WHAT...even if we have to strap a bomb to the body politic and blow ourselves up.
