that elusive consept that stumps our boys so...they think it means a forced march to unanimity...to full adherence to one point of view. It actually means something quite diferent,,,unless you mean a Fascist state...you can really only have unity when you are unified in your belief in PLURALISM...the very soul of social unity is that you are united ONLY in promising to respect DIVERSITY...that's the only meaningful thing to be UNIFIED over...anything more than that is just tyranny...as you can see on aina...what they mean by unity is the elimination of all dissent...that sort of "unity" a free people will fight against all their lives...which is the reason these boys have never and will NEVER achieve the sort of unity they crave...because they have not the power, outside of their pissant forums and clubs and churches of ENFORCING unanimity...left alone and in freedom...not a one of them will ever agree with another one on "unity"...because it simply means "surrender" of one of the parties...and who will surrender voluntarily? And which of them has the power, now, to force the issue?
