...headline at aina:

"Everything That Was Dreaded is Happening in Iraq"...or, "Dicking around with language in hopes you won't notice".

This headline is not QUITE accurate...it implies something just the opposite of what was the case. Reading it now the way its expressed you'd assume aina was warning all along that IF the United States went ahead with their Jihad against BetNahrain, with Peter's blessing, this disasterous outcome that was "dreaded" would naturally follow.

In fact aina's position was quite the opposite. If you'll remember for some years aina and every boy we have was warning that if the United States did NOT attack Iraq...the outcome we see today would happen. At no time did any Iraqi dictator give the Shiia power and at NO time did any dictator hand the north over to be made into Kurdistan. Aina was warning that these things and worse would happen if America did NOT go "liberate" Iraq and set up a democracy in which Christians would be "protected and guaranteed".

This is Peter's way of sidestepping his dismal prediction that the only safety for Christians in Iraq lay with America and American-style democracy...which, despite Peter's "litmus test" bullshit, always meant MAJORITY SHIIA RULE.

What has happened now is NOT what aina dreaded..it is what aina CALLED FOR! This was the only "guarantee" the Christians could expect as a result of America's Jihad against Iraq.
