...this guy has no intention on working on his "fronts". It just felt good to SAY these things...he's satisfied now and can go back to sleep...he's done his "work" for Assria. If he said these things in Iraq, with everyone knowing this jackass meant he wanted a part of Iraq to be given to be given to him...then all his calling on foreigners to "give me my rights" would mean sedition and calling on foreign powers to implement such a plan...that is clearly illegal anywhere in the world...and objectionable, nowhere more so than in a country, in a region, where the West has been and is TODAY meddling.

Had he said his rights were being denied because the money in Iraq's central bank was really his and would everyone please get together and work on several fronts to get him his "rights", he would be in just as great violation of the Laws of Iraq...or any other nation.

We must work in several fronts

It seems that Mar Dinkha IV, in his speech has said that political parties should work in harmony with each other in the political matters, and ADM has recently also mentioned ” ..Assyrians unite in Diaspora, Lobby the governments in Diaspora, amonsgt other things.."

This is opening an opportunity for me to express some of my thoughts here.

As you probably agree, in order to be able to gain enough rights in Iraq to survive and prosper in future, we should be fighting in several different fronts. I see these fronts as follows:

Front A: Iraq. This is the most important front. Success of any work around the world must be judged by how much of a difference it has made for the Assyrians in Iraq. Our Assyrians in Iraq are operating on a "real time” basis. The decision made in Iraq, can help or get them killed on the same day. Therefore it is of utmost importance that these Assyrians to be able to select their own leadership make their own decisions, set goals and plans for themselves in Iraq. They should be willing to coordinate and accept inputs from abroad.

Front B: Washington DC: It is a known fact that any interest group with the most friends in Washington can be the most influential group in the Middle East in general and Iraq in particular. Having USA as our friend can help us to convince some of the none-Assyrian groups in Iraq to be more compromising toward the Assyrian rights.

Making friends in Washington should be the main objective and responsibility of the Assyrians living in USA. These Assyrians should let the Iraqi Assyrians run their own affair the way they see it fit, and concentrated on their assigned task of making friends in USA. Of course there should be cooperation, coordination among all the fronts .

Front C: European Union: Assyrian living in EU territories should be responsible for making friends in the European capitals for the same reasons as above. In time EU could be strong enough to equal the American influence in middle East.

Front D: Middle Eastern capitals: The same as above

We all have our assignments and jobs to do. Let’s concentrate on them and not to interfere with the other fronts work. Of course, all the groups should work as one entity and implement pieces of the same plan master plan. --- Thank you.
