NEW ORLEANS - Two officers were fired Wednesday for a beating in the French Quarter shortly after Hurricane Katrina that was photographed and videotaped by The Associated Press. A third officer was suspended. ..if there was any way at all they could have blamed it on the Black man, they would have. Just imagine how many such beatings have taken place for the last 100 years...never mind the lynchings...is that torture...or just the American way? --------------------- |
