Why do Assyrians suffer?

A visit to this forum shows why Assyrians around the world suffer but there is none to help them.

An Arabic article has been posted on the site which details the suffering of the Assyrian refugees in Turkey but instead of translating it into English so that it can be presented to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), The United Nations Refugee Agency, THE WORLD COUNCIL OF CHURCHES and other international humanitarian organizations

...are you serious? All you have to do is tell that Chrtistians are SUFFERING and they`ll do...exactly what? It is Christians round the world MAKING people suffer!

it is being used to criticize Yonadam Kanna by. Evidently the poster is more interested in blaming Kanna rather than getting some help to these people.

...so translate it..and don`t use the article criticising Kanna, instead of alerting the world, as your excuse to criticize the article criticizing Kanna and not helping alert the world...YOU alert the world why don`t you...see if it gives a rat`s ass.

We need to recognize our own responsibilities and learn to solve our people's problems intelligently instead of wasting our time arguing and blaming each other. Perhaps only then we can alleviate some of our people's suffering.

...I`d say sending the United States in to liberate your people was a really good start.

Enough of such useless arguments.We need to stop pointing to the sliver in other people's eye and see the mountains in our own. Only then we can accomplish more than we ever have.

...right.

This is not to support Kanna or zowa but to bring attention to the mentality which prevents us from doing anything constructive. It is far better to lit a candle to waste time on cursing the night.

Recently an American website was doing fud raising for the family of the Assyrian translator Allen Enviya who was killed.

...fud?

The last time I checked they had collected close to 6000 dollars. There was very few Assyrian names among doners which shows how little compassion and responsibility we feel for each other.

...Alan was a collaborator...if Muslim troops attacked and occupied America and American Muslims went to work for them as "interpreters"..you can bet some American Minute Men would have killed Alan (the Muslim). I wish you people would stop supporting traitors and collaborators and trying to look like it`s what EVERYBODY does...quite the contrary, you are the ONLY idiots to praise collaborators.
