The first is taken from William Manchester's "A World Lit Only by Fire", The Medieval Mind and the Renaissance. Little Brown, 1993. I haven't the time or need to explain to you who Manchester is, let's just say he's a noted writer and historian who's had several books published and he is not a Qurd, Turk, Muslim or Arab

"Charlemagne was a just and enlightened ruler-----for the times. His loyalty to the Church was absolute, though he sometimes chose peculiar ways to demonstrate it. Conquering Saxon rebels, he gave them a choice between baptism and immediate execution; when they demurred, he had forty-five hundred of them beheaded in one morning." p.7

...and there are many, many more such instances when people were faced with death if they refused Jesus...that's if they were given the choice at all and not just murdered outright.

And then there's the contrast between Muslims and Christians. I haven't the actual quotation before me but I can easily get it. This is taken from Dr Will Durant's "Story of Civilization" a 12 volume , Pulitzer Prize winning work, volume 4, "The Age of Faith" in which he contrasts the results, for the losers, of the conquests of Jerusalem during the First Crusade.

When the Christians took the city they murdered every Muslim man, woman, and child...and they locked all the Jews in their main synagogue and burned it to the ground.....years later when Khalid Ibn Walid, "The Sword of Islam" recaptured the city, he toured Jerusalem with the Patriarch as his honored guests, designating the spots which would be reserved for Christian worship...and of course the Jews were welcomed back.

Now I want you to do the same...I want you to bring us actual examples, and not from religious tracts or anecdotes, but from actual historical writings which show that...

a. Muslims ever did such things i.e., murder all inhabitants JUST for their religion.

b. Force people to convert on pain of death.

These are more of the lies at the core of "assyrian" identity and claims...and they are just that; lies. But we are eager and willing to be proven wrong....please, you have the floor.
