A part of me hates to do this but, fortunately it is a very small part. We wish to encourage people like Minime to think and speak out, to commit themselves, stand behind their ideals, express them, defend them and in short behave as all those who actually live outside in the world must be prepared to behave in order to be fully human…in other words; to stand up for himself instead of simply carping and nagging, nipping at the heels of those who have something to say. To his credit we must commend him for momentarily leaving his monkey virgins at the door to admit that Christians have a great deal to apologize for.

How I wish I could please him by agreeing with him that it’s a big deal when Christians admit to even one of their heinous crimes…I wish I could see this as anything more than self-righteously heaping praise upon themselves for doing the right thing when it costs them nothing but the world’s praise…but I can’t. I also can’t help but examine into it further, to see if, as he hints, there are any parallels between what Christians have done to totally innocent people and to what he assumes Muslims have done to Christians, for which, he thinks, Muslin now should take a hint from Australians and also apologize to those whom they’ve supposedly wronged. This apology by the Christians of Australia is supposed to set the tone, show the way and “shame” the Muslims into apologizing to the Christians of Iraq…or Turkey. Naturally one wants to see if these incidents are at all similar.

We, who are pagans, are appalled but not surprised to see the same Christians denying the Holocaust, during which Christians murdered, cooked and ate six million Jews simply for their religion, while at the same time maintaining that there was a Holocaust in Turkey, when that government was beset with internal rebellion by Christian factions as well as mounting pressure from foreign Christian nations making no secret of their intention to wage a war for oil, whereas the Jews never did a thing to Christians except enhance their lives and give them Jesus…and that while Jews are accused of lying, with the help of the world, when they say Christians murdered millions of them, Christians are telling the truth when they say Turks murdered 700,000 of them for their religion. But did they?

While there is ample precedent and example to show that the Christian Church had blamed Jews for the murder of Jesus (something they benefited by and do to this day) and taught their children for centuries that this deserved constant harassment and and real persecution…even to the point that a Christian had written a book titled “Mein Kampf” in which he clearly stated exactly what he would do to Jews, if he had the power, and went on to be GIVEN that power by the Christians who elected him to office…there is nothing comparable on the other side. The Quran expressly commands its followers to treat Jews and Christians with respect and consideration. This does not, however, apply to Christian or Jewish or any other soldiers. Neither does it hold good if Christian subjects rebel against their Muslim rulers…the same being true for Christians rebelling against their Christian rulers, who can expect severe chastisement. But, short of that, Islam never approached Christians or Jews the way Christians treated Muslims and Jews or… Aborigines in Australia.

It is good of Minime to offer an instance when Christians apologized for their brutality…but this hardly translates to any need for Muslims to apologize to anyone. The Christians who died in Turkey, mostly died from the effects of starvation…which has always accompanied war. Turks also died by the thousands as a result of the disruption of agriculture and commerce brought on, we must add, by a war declared against them by Christians. Also, previously, western Christian states had used missionaries to stir up trouble between Christians and their Muslim neighbors and rulers with whom they’d lived in peace until the Westerners arrived to inflame them , seduce them, use them and abandon them, as they always had in the past. The Aborigines never did a thing to merit the abuse Europeans visited on them…whereas the Christians under Muslim rule were ever ready to turn on their neighbors and rulers at the slightest hint from foreign Christian powers…as they did just now in Iraq. They will again pay the price…not because of “persecution” but because of treason and collaboration…as many Muslims will also pay. As always, where Islam is concerned, it is the ACT which brings punishment, not the religious belief.

Christians, and only Christians, are evangelical…that means they give themselves the right to harass other people into buying Christ, one way or another. This predisposes them to get pissed enough to murder those who refuse…no matter how politely. Neither Muslims nor Jews have the evangelical madness…this has saved them from practicing the kinds of brutality Christians have used to “spread” their Goddamned gospel

In short, as much as I’d like to find otherwise, there is no comparison between the crimes committed by the Christians against the Aborigines and the protection and benefits offered the Christians by the Arabs and Turks. That things went sour is entirely the fault of Western Christianity which lured the local Christians to their doom…as they did again in this war against Iraq. Islam was, and is, merely defending itself.

The Christians of BetNahrain prospered and were saved by the coming of the Arabs whose tolerance protected them from the murderous orthodoxy of the Byzantines. It was the western Christians who presented the threat to the Christians of BetNahrain by making overtures to them to take their side against their Muslim overlords….much as it was Christians who abused the Aborigines. Pity that the Arabs didn’t sail to Australia where they would have chased off the marauding criminals sent from Christian lands and saved the native population. The Aborigines then might have been spared centuries of continued Christian abuse to thrive under Islamic rule…removing any necessity for Christians to apologize to them after a few hundred years of brutal abuse when it meant absolutely nothing…except a righteous rush of self-congratulation.

Perhaps, one day, Australian Christians will apologize to Iraqis…though we’d all prefer if they lived their lives in such ways as to have to apologize to one periodically.

The disabilities suffered by Christians in the Ottoman Empire were the same as those suffered by Kurds and everyone else living under the Turkish feudal system. This same system was in place in Europe and all Christian peasants suffered the effects as well.

Minime now has a choice. Either he can explain further…defend…expound and continue a civil discussion like a decent human bean, even though he has been crossed, or he can revert to his virgin monkeys and name-calling. His worst is always welcome…but we’d prefer his best.

He has a habit of depositing his one idea and then never mentioning it again…leaving it an orphan in the world. He did the same with the remarkable statement that Christianity is like all other religions, something he hardly believes since he never mentioned it again. When it was shown to him, in detail, that Christianity is unique in a few disgusting ways, he refused to return to the fray to defend his position….grabbing instead at virgins and monkeys with a lot of “fuck yous” and “shit heads” thrown in

Let’s see if he does any better this time.
