Saleh, the former Yemeni president from 1990-2012, was the Saudi/U.S. boy who lied to his people when he said that it was under his orders that Yemeni terrorists were bombed by Yemeni piloted jets, but he was quickly caught in a lie when the press (possibly Jeremy Scahill) broke the news that it was U.S. piloted jets (or drones) responsible for the air strikes that killed several Yemeni alleged terrorists and taking the lives of innocent bystanders. He got run out of the country, was himself injured after a failed assassination, after which he was taken to a Saudi hospital to recover. Upon his return, he switched sides by backing the Houthi clan, and now he has this to say about his former handlers, the Saudis. It's like Arabic soap opera. He noted that the western and US mercenaries in the region are betraying the Arab states for the sake of Israel, and said, “Today we see that the global arrogance is supporting Saudi Arabia because the West’s ambition for oil to help its weapon-manufacturing factories to continue their operation has instigated Saudi Arabia to attack Yemen.” Last week, a Syrian university professor underlined that Washington and Tel Aviv are implementing their plots in region with the petrodollars of the Persian Gulf Arab states. “The US and Israel are killing the Arab citizens of the region with petrodollars of the Persian Gulf Sheikhdoms,” Damascus University Professor Wael al-Imam told FNA last Friday. He noted that the Arab regimes of the Persian Gulf states can only survive with the US support, and said that oil is their only guarantee for continued rule; these countries protect the security of the Quds Occupying Regime and it is easy for them to victimize the Syrian, Palestinian, Iraqi and Yemeni nations in a bid to protect their own rule and regime.
