It’s interesting how these people haven’t much in the way of argument or discussion to relate. They merely plop down their beliefs which, more often than not are the things they’ve been taught as young children at some priest’s knee, and wait for you to see the merit in them…and if you don’t, call you Hitler and depart. Or, if they don’t leave right away, stick around making one-line snippy comments…even though, unlike Hitler and their own Christian forums, you allow them all the freedom they need to explain themselves fully…even to “attacking” and “insulting” you, if they absolutely feel they must. But they don’t know how to do much more than that. These people don’t need freedom, don’t even want it…it isn’t freedom they’re looking for…it’s conformity.

Actually, come to think of it; they seek to enforce a form of forced conversion to their beliefs instead of open discussion . Either you give up your beliefs, the right to explain them or maintain them in the face of their “faith” in the exclusive correctness of their own beliefs…or suffer the consequences. And those consequences aren’t more arguments…references,…books etc. No…it’s insults aimed at your parents, your children, your reputation and you. Finally you are treated as a “heretic” denying their “revealed truth” and excommunicated by being told you are not a “real” Assyrian and can no longer play. If they had the power they’d burn you at the stake as well…or shoot you while you’re giving your one-year old a bath in San Jose or stab you in the neck in Sweden.

When these kinds of exchanges took place on their own forums, we’d simply be banned and deleted and they’d be spared the inconvenience of appearing tongue-tied and not knowing how to respond. Moderators would regularly step in and save these “heroes of Assyria” from their own ignorance and incompetence…otherwise Assyria would look mighty tawdry and stupid…which it is, thanks to THEM….which is the way they prefer cause how else are they going to be “writers”, “historians” and “leaders” unless its ridiculously easy to call themselves so? Certainly no one else would ever see them in the Rosie glow they see themselves in the mirror.

And hence the source of their constant frustration and snippiness: In order to be the only kind of “Assyrian” they can safely and easily be, they have to be SO damn silly and incompetent that they can never realize one-hundredth of their “aspirations”. The kind of Assyrian they insist on being is precisely the kind who’ll fail time and time again. Had I been that kind of Assyrian I’d have had to settle for putting a monument in the parking lot of their bordello-motel in Turlock…instead of Civic Center in San Francisco….or the University of Chicago campus.

But bless the poor dears when they feel compelled to come here and carry on in the same fashion, they are chagrined to find no one stops discussions or removes anyone or bans anyone…and so they’re forced to ban themselves when the shallow “depth” of their prooooves becomes apparent. On their own forums they were always spared having to go too deeply into anything…they just declared themselves GREAT, told us what “real” History is, what words “really” mean, and that was that. But, when they have to fend for themselves we see quickly just how skin-deep all their “knowledge” is. It’s a paper-thin exterior of jingoist nonsense covering mounds and mounds of the silliest bullshit you ever heard.

Such is the beauty of freedom; it throws you on your own resources and you sink or swim depending on how capable you are...which is the reason they don’t allow any and are terrified of it. Give them a country??? You bet…that’s all that was lacking in the MidEast.
