Jumblat’s Nazi ancestors also had opinions about Jews...opinions they claimed were “historical facts”. But we know better now. Had Goebbels had the internet you can bet he would have created all sorts of so-called Jewish sites to talk about urine and breasts.

Bet-Jackass has all sorts of claims against Islam...but they are his creations entirely....to contrast that with what we mean when we say “historical accuracy” and “legitimate documentation” I’d like to sample a highly regarded book on the conquest of Mexico called, oddly enough, “History of the Conquest of Mexico”, by William H. Prescott....Modern Library Classic, a trademark of Random House Publishers.

Discussing Hernan Cortes, the leader of the small, private army, that attacked the Aztec Empire, Prescott has this to say about Cortes...

“His principal standard was of black velvet embroidered with gold and emblazoned with a red cross amidst flames of blue and white, with this motto in Latin beneath; ‘Friends, let us follow the Cross and under this sign, if we have faith, we shall conquer.’”

“Conquer”, of course, meant kill, steal, rape and burn...also enslave and destroy culture, language, religion and history.

Also about Cortes he says....

“...this remarkable man; instrument selected by Providence to scatter terror among the barbarian monarchs of the Western World, and lay their empires in the dust.”

Further he quotes Cortes...

“I will make you masters of such as your countrymen never dreamed of! You are few in number, but strong in resolution; and, if this does not falter, doubt not but that the Almighty who has never deserted the Spaniard in his contest with the infidel, will shield you, though encompassed by a cloud of enemies; for your cause is a JUST CAUSE (emphasis in the original), and you are to fight under the banner of the Cross.”

Discussing his actual tactics...

“The first object of Cortes was to reclaim the natives from their gross idolatry and to substitute a purer form of worship. In accomplishing this he was prepared to use force, if milder measures should be ineffectual.”

Also...

“No doubt was entertained in the efficacy of conversion, however sudden might be the change, or however violent the means.”

And...

“The Spanish cavalier felt he had a high mission to accomplish as a soldier of the Cross. However unauthorized or unrighteous the war into which he had entered may seem to us, to him it was a holy war. He was in arms against the infidel. Not to care for the soul of his benighted enemy was to put his own in jeopardy. The conversion of a single soul might cover a multitude of sins.”

And...

“It was not for morals that he was concerned, but for THE FAITH (emphasis in the original). This, though understood in its most literal and limited sense, comprehended the whole scheme of Christian morality. Whoever died in the faith, however immoral had been his life, might be said to die in the Lord.”

Whew! There’s a breathtaking license to murder for the Lord...

I think “scheme” is a good choice to describe such morality. This kind of scheming is what Christians accuse Muslims of...that they waged a “holy war” to forcibly convert people, even with violence.

Remember this is a Christian historian writing about Christian holy war. This isn’t Muslim propaganda...it isn’t “opinion”. It isn’t self-printed by Pay-Me-Press. It is fact. Something Jumblat Bet-Jackass can’t find anywhere to back up his lies against Islam, trying to smear it with the crimes committed, and attested to, by Christians.

In answer...if he reads at all, will come more urine and boobies.
