...there is a world of difference...the Universe isn't demanding people kill non-believers...oh come ON! You know damn well what the discussion was supposed to be about...I hate to do this but you're forcing me to ignore you....we set this place up to have serious discussions...it is NOT serious to tell me there is a god I can't see and so have to accept on faith or for any other reason, period! What scientists say and what Augustine said is also besides the point...this started 40 years ago when I said Christianity was unique among all modern religions...you came on and said religions were pretty much all the same...as you recently said all gods are pretty much the same god.

..I immediately took issue with your contention and you did what you do over half the time...you refused to respond...waited a few weeks and came back with a "new" topic, thinking maybe I had forgotten....well, I hadn't forgotten and I still remember...in fact a few weeks back I again responded to your original claim and listed the many ways Christianity is very different....again no comment from you.

...it may also find my pig....so?

...of course they do...if you believe a supernatural pig, and he would have to be, is living on Mars then ANYTHING is possible.....why do you people assume you know what God can do? Because, again, that farrago of nonsense, the bible, tells you so...well I'm telling you my pig can create universes as well....so? Why is my "faith" in my pig any less respectable than the belief in the god of some sheep-shit herding peasant of 3000 years ago who thought his arse was for washing dishes with?

....the bible is pure nonsense...way before the bible people were asking themselves those "Big Question"...and coming up with answers just as silly.

>Let us say that you saw a miracle and believed. What next? There are many others. Why you? Does God have to appear to every single person?

....ask my Pig.

>No, those facts prove that Genesis was right. How do they prove the existence of pigs?

...because pigs exist...I really have to point that out to you? Pigs exist and, no, they don't have to appear to EVERYBODY but everybody believes in their existence because they see plenty of other animals and so there's no great streatch in believing in pigs...the fact that no one has as yet seen the one on Mars is simply testimony to the mysterious ways in which my Pig works...you know, like your god, or should I say YOUR Pig?

...how do they prove Genesis right? Genesis is a fairy tale....it could just as easily be a story from Mother Goose or the Grimm Brothers....grow up.

...now you're being insulting....nothing in the bible is "right"....nothing.
>

>You criticize a book without having ever read a single page of it.

...I read plenty of pages...but even more to the point I see what people do who HAVE read all those pages...for instance I can see that whatever intellect you had as a child has been severely compromised by this nonsense. You can't write three words without falling over the bible, or Augustine or someone else....try going it alone for a change.
>
> New Testicles merely introduces the idea of punishment even after you're dead
>
>No it doesn't. Show me where.

...the Old Testicles makes no mention of hell....when you die and the earth closes over you, it's over, finished...you can actually R.I.P. But only when gentle Jesus meek and mild shows up do we get everlasting punishment for the rest of eternity...something awful and criminal and sadistic to lie to children....how can any decent human being put this terror into an innocent child...wait!! I know how...because that child is NOT innocent...is he? No, no...that child was conceived in SIN...honestly, don't you feel the need for a good shower about now?
>
> the safest and wisest thing anyone can say is "I don't know"
>
>Are you ready to say "I do not know" regarding the theory of an intelligent prime mover behind the existence of the universe?

...said it many times already.....this is your gateway to the god nonsense again...we know the drill, knew it before you graced our pages....when you get there, tell me.
>
> let's finally start what we started, which is; what have people done with the BELIEF in gods.....not the EXISTENCE of gods, but the BELIEF in their existence.
>
>Indians believe in God. They call him Ganish. What did they do?

...Indians and Ganish haven't brought the world two world wars and a Holocaust...Ganish didn't teach the extermination of the Jewish people...Ganish didn't sail the seas raping people into Christ...do we really need to go on?

...Obviously you refuse to take this subject seriously and you've convinced me of it too, this is not a serious subject where you are concerned....I'm always open for serious discussion...

...I fear you've simply tried to "keep up", for appearence sake...and I'm tired of slowing down for you.
