...the sheer idiocy of Israel's reasons why Palestine cannot be created by the UN is mind-boggling...but what can they do? They know better than anyone that all their arguments, all the way back to 47, are bogus. Still, what can they do, what could they do, faced by the murderous actions of Christian nations? They have been dealt an impossible hand and must play it as best they can.

They know that their assertion that "the UN can't create Palestine", beggars the question, "how then did it create Israel"? There were no negotiations, no peace talks, between Zionists and Palestinians back in 47...no, the UN just created Israel, like magic.

Israelis now say that the Palestinians started all this by not accepting the theft of their lands back then....that they gave up any right to an independent state because they refused the Israeli state's legitimacy...well, it wasn't a legitimate way to make a country, which is what the Israeli's say now, now that the Palestinians want to do the same thing by also appealing for statehood from the UN, without any "negotiations".

"The Zionists accepted half the loaf, and despite Arabs attacking it on the day of its birth, Israel flourished. Because the Arabs refused its half of the loaf, Palestine was never born."

I see. The ancient Hebrews went bankrupt long ago and their neighbors foreclosed...they took over that old Jewish House.....centuries later the Jews show up again and demand their house back, because they once owned it....no one else has been able to do such a thing....once it's gone, it's gone, unless you steal it back again...which they did, with the help of the same Christians who'd just finished murdering them.

If I show up at the house I lost and break in and seize the dinning room, kitchen and all the upstairs bathrooms and bedrooms from its current owner, I can hardly demand that the current owner accept "half a loaf"...hell no, he wants his entire loaf back...and I'm just a clever, but stupid, thief who wants a part of what isn't mine...but thinks he's being reasonable because he only wants to steal half.

Why should the Palestinians have taken half a loaf when the entire country was theirs? They weren't the ones who made it impossible for Jews to remain in Europe...yes, the Christian world owed a great deal to their Jewish victims, but they paid that debt by stealing from the Arabs, who were innocent of the Holocaust.

The whole thing is an injustice all the around brought on by Christians, not Jews and certainly not Arabs. Israelis have no rational case to make...it was theft and injustice from the beginning....and successful violence doesn't make it any less a theft. Neither does tortured arguments and twisted logic.

It was legitimate for the Israelis then, but not for the Palestinians now....because of a loaf of bread.
