...if America had not been Christian, would it have retaliated against the Japanese? Is Christianity what made Co. Doolittle's men ready to sacrifice their lives in a suicide mission over Tokyo or was it a sense of outrage at what Japan had done to them?

Did George Washington oppose King George III because George's Christian teaching made him lust for war...or was it something else entirely?

Has the Muslim world been angered at the forcible installation of a European colony of European Jews, as a dumping homeland for the ones they hadn't managed to murder, because of Islam, or because of the injustice and illegality of it plus what it has done to the Palestinians whose lands were stolen? Had Arabs all been Christians or Buddhists would they NOT have minded?

Is it Islam and Allah which drives Muslims to strap bombs on their backs and kill "innocent civilians", while only a desire for peace and liberation and democracy makes Christian soldiers kill innocent civillians?

Does Hitchens believe that without Islam, Palestinians would accept what is being done to them...and Muslims wouldn't mind attacks against their countries by the Christian West?

That's what he makes it seem like.
