...this is the first paragraph of a rather blowsy "statement" on Maggie's homepage.

"This site & forum is dedicated to all Assyrians who want to meet in a neutral and democratic space to exchange ideas, discuss issues, and generate a dialogue related to building a new Assyria, without the fear of being banned, deleted, edited, and branded for your opinions."

There are several things wrong with this statement...for one thing her site isn't a forum at all...it's a message board for like-minded people. A true forum is an "open marketplace for the free exchange of ideas". The operative word being "free exchange". It doesn't say,"for the exchange of approved ideas"...it says FREE. And we've seen that people get banned and deleted from Maggie's site when they displease her, personally.

Next there are no "All" Assyrians...there never were and there can't be so long as the threat of being banned hangs over everyone. There are a "few" assyrians...maybe five, actually participating, which would be fine if there were more than that many actually reading. It's okay for one person to write a book, and not a tribe...but it's sort of a flop when only one person, or five, reads.

And then there's the matter of what actually gets discussed. Is anyone offering any systematic plan for building an assyria that isn't a howler? I haven't seen it...but, even to propose such a goal shows just how stupid the place is. I mean, what PLAN could there be? The surviving Jews would never have gotten an Israel if not for the Euros wanting there to be such a place...they too had no "plan" except to offer their backsides to the Brits and later the Americans. Now Maggie might LOVE to so offer her considerable backsides,,,but who would take them? And why would they?

Not only is there no plan, there's no discussion ABOUT a plan. To call on assyrians to reconsider the meaning of politics, or their churches, or to bash what little they have in the way of leadership is no "plan"...to suggest assyrians vote for their own parliament is also no "plan". It's just idle talk.

"Talk" turns out to be all we needed in our PLAN to destroy assyrian so-called "nationalism"...all we had to do was to ask questions, to probe, to challenge and, most effective of all, use actual and real books and facts to demolish all their "arguments" by which we mean their "opinions" and wishes and dreams and hopes...all of them futile and foolish in the extreme as THEY prove every day that passes. If words alone can defeat Bet-Solomon and Aprim and Taco, remember him?, then what chance do they stand with ANY "plan"...assuming they mean to put it into effect?

Maggie's place, by its own admission and in its own words, is a monumental failure...while ours is a monumental success...and really, it took no great shakes, not when you're up against this kind of "adversary". Maggie has chosen BIG enemies...that way, as she fails, she can at least glory in what she TRIED to do...except she never even tried...she just declared war against Turks and Qurds and then never did anything about it...never came up with that "plan"..any more than they got their 1000 assyrian warriors..or anything else.

It's all just talk and not even very interesting talk...because they banned THAT!
