There is a book pertaining to this subject and it's called the "the underdevelopment of Africa". I heard the author was killed but it's supposed to be a great book. I knew there was something seriously wrong that the west suddenly wanna murder Qadaffi so quickly and won't do any kind of negotiating with him. It has become very obvious and the same would have been done with Saddam either way. I don't think Bush was ever hoping to avoid conflict with Iraq. Just think if Saddam had stepped down, the American movie would end right there but he didn't so he kept them in business. When it comes to Saddam, I still have mixed feelings. I sometimes believe he was still working with them all along and that it was all a game or they really turned on him just as he turned on them and they actually killed him, but that would mean he was just that stupid to make life easier for them and play into their plans. Something is not right in the story with Saddam but with Qadaffi it's a different story since he actually overthrew the pro-White government of Libya before him and kicked out the British agents who were using the embassies to screw Libya.
