...we are all busy...but some us believe in what we do also. You can call people all the names you wish..but it's better to prove what you claim than just to claim it...how are we "lunatics" for bringing valid historical facts, and citations, to post here? Are "lunatic" for daring to tell the truth?

>Why bother, except to say that it is unfortunate that all of your anger at the "West" (where I assume you live) has allowed you to justify the real persecution of minorities in other parts of the world.

..there you go again...no one is "justifying" any persecution..we are merely pointing out that when it comes to persecution, the West, and Christianity, leads the pack...as we have shown...for the man whipped by Islam we brought you six million Jews murdered by th Christian West...not to mention 700,000 Iraqi children under the age of five starved to death by this same Christian West...these numbers come from the International Red Cross, Amnesty International and the United Nations plus countless scholars and historians..are they all lunatics too? Yes, I live in the West...but that only makes it imperative that I and others speak out about the real crimes being committed by those who have seized the government "democratically".

>Minorities (Christian, Jewish, Zoroastrian) have historically fared better under Muslim rule. But that simply does not justify or excuse discrimination against them, which you all seem to believe is fictional. It's not. I don't have the time to play your silly games (defending religious lunacy to spite the evil West).

...there you go yet again...no one is justifying any persecution of anyone...are deaf or a lunatic? What we are saying is that the Christian West has historically been the greatest persecutor of all...especially in the last 200 years...and we have given you example after example after example...and all you can say in return is that we "justify" persecution JUST because we are trying to be fair and accurate...whippings and what you claim as modern-day jizya, even if true, come nowhere near to starved Iraqi babies whose parents, I am sure, would have preferred any number of whippings and a tax too if only their children had been spared by Christians. It is you who only wish to speak of the relatively minor persecutions, as you see them...we are willing to discuss them all.

>It always strikes me as odd that you guys use the West as your whipping boy to justify violence committed in the name of Islam, and yet you all live in the West.

...the West is not monolithic...there are many people in the West who are horrified by what has been done in our name...maybe you cut and run, but we stay to get America onto a more sane and humane path. You seem to think that people have to leave when they disagree with their government...but that is not the way most people feel...the West has many wonderful features, as did Germany in 1930...but it also goes through brutal periods and we have to stay to make sure it doesn't remain that way.

But since I am neither a religious fanatic (like you),

...I have no religion.

nor a Republican, I will not suggest that you leave and go back to the tolerant lands of Islam.

...they were once far more tolerant than any Christian lands...mostly they have suffered from, first of all, the Mongol invasion and then from the rise of fundamentalist extremists who had an easier time of it because the West's Colonial practices easily inflamed extremism...as did the Reparations assessed against Germany after WW I, which was a jizya tax to end all taxes..and which led to the rise of extreme nationalist/Christian groups...today Muslim lands are gripped by extremist fundamentalists and the West bears much of the blame for that....

Freedom of expression is something I value, and is something that is lacking in most of the Muslim world, unfortunately. I wonder why that is.

...I thin you will find that here in America several Christian sites, many of them claiming to be Assyrian, also restrict or ban freedom of speech...perhaps you can tell us why that is...it is one thing for this freedom to be lacking in countries rules by religious zealots...and quite another thing that it should occur in free America...don't you think?
>
>You all have fun denying the many atrocities committed against minorities (from the Armenian genocide to the ethnic cleansing of Christians from Iraq).

...no, never. We merely point out what is false, lying propaganda and what is true. If it's persecution and murder you care about, then you would also condemn the crimes of the West...but I think you are only interested in what you see as crimes committed BY Muslims, but not Christians...we see them all. As far as the claims of genocide against Christians by the Turks...there is no proof. There are accounts of dead Christians, yes...but they mostly died from starvation and disease...as did many Muslims...as did children in Iraq, where no one will admit to actually killing them, but they died anyway, from disease and starvation...the same occurred in Turkey but you Christians have blown this up into a Crusade, for propaganda purposes. It's odd that you don't mention the Holocaust.
>
>Take care.

...always. You gave it a good try but in the end you say what they all say, that you are "too busy" to "waste time"...and you didn't really...for once again you showed the usual inability to talk facts, to present evidence or back up claims. It seems you all only have time to make claims, but never to back them up. Try it some time. Your opinions are certainly important and worthy of respect..but your opinions alone, or those of your co-religionists or grandparents, don't amount to facts or evidence. You should not be offended when asked to back up your claims with hard evidence...no one is calling you a liar or doubting your word...it's just that with only opinions we will get nowhere....we need facts, names and dates provided by RELIABLE sources...they are out there, or at least you should look for them.

...thanks for the visit.
