The way Christians make changes to their religions and adopt differenmt ideas from others has always fascinated me. Christians are in no position to point fingers at Islam and especially not while using western secular laws to criticize. Do Christians follow the Bible or the laws made by poliuticians recently? If they accept their Bible as their word of God, then I expect them to judge by it and not by Californian laws. Islam has never changed and will never change. Islam is the same as day and and will remain so. We do not change it to suit our desires but we rather live our lives according to it. If Christians or anyone has an issue with Islam and marriage, they need to do a little research first. In Islam, forced marriages is forbidden and condemned. A person below puberty is not allowed to get married. There is no specific age at which one can get married at but it is all about puberty and maturity.

Puberty differs from person to person and gender, climate, ethnicity, etc play a role as well. It was only a 100 years ago that California raised the age of marriage from 10 to 14. in other words, it was allowed in 1908 for a girl to get married as early as 10/ Some states still allow marriage as early as 12 as long as parents sign a consent. Now Islam differs from what Muslims do. If some "Muslims" force their young daughters to marry older men, this is wroing and an ethnic custom which contradictts with Islam since forced marriage is not allowed. My grandma was forced to marry at the age of 11 to a her cousin who was 33 at least. This was only 80 years ago and she was Christian. The Bible does not condone young marriages and Christians need to stop mixing western man made laws with their biblical laws.

It seems like Christians make changhes to their religion as trhey please. 150 years ago Christian women covered their heads in public and Christian women in som,e areas of the world still do so. The Bible allows young marriages and many figures in the Bible married young. Where in the Bible does it say a person must be 18,21, or 25 to get married? Sex outside of mareriage, boy friend, girlfriend, dating, etc is all accepted but marriage is a crime? Sure it is a crime to force some one to get married and it is also a crime to force a young girl to marry an older guy but it is not a crime for a person of puberty and maturity to get married if she or he chooses so.

Christrians got a lot to worry about in their own religion and should not be worried about Islam. Young marriages were not invented by Islam but it was sure as heck perfected and regulated by Islam. Before Islam, a girl could get forced into marriage atr any agfe, but Islam stopped this practice and instead one can only get married after puberty andf without compulsion. The same with multiple wives. Before Islam, there was no limit and no regulations but Islam limits the number to 4 wives maximum snd only under strict conditions. One is not encouraged to marry more than one but it is allowed if one can meet the requiurements.
