I was reading an article on msn about a Christian woman in Pakistan who was sentenced to death for blasphemy. Pakistan has anti-blasphemy laws which usually people get prison time but this was woman was sentenced to death for some reason and the article said 'Christian woman faces death penalty for blasphemy' and of course we know what the article is really trying to say. This law is silly and Pakistan is corrupt but the article is trying to make a statement and cause more problems than anything. There have been even many Muslims arrested for this law and it was admitted that this law can even be misused by corrupt people for their convenience when they want. I am no fan of Pakistan nor any Muslim country but one thing I do know for sure is that this is not an islamic law but Pakistani. It is ironic but true that the most corrupt yet least Islamic countries have such laws and they do so to cover their ass and make themselves look good.

There isn't even such ruling in Islam for someone saying something about the religion but governments do as they please. It amazes me that today when religion or spirituality I should say is dead yet people do such things but in history Muslims were more tolerant. But, I don't fall for media so quick anymore because I know they lie enough not to be trusted. These were the same who reported a 13 year old girl was stoned in Somalia even though she was a rap[e victim. Of course the westerner will think 'oh my god theya re evil" but they didn't know the story. There was no truth to the story at all. It was a married 23 year old woman who had murdered her husband for anopther man and was found guilty in court. She was sentenced to death. Does America not execute people and murderers? What is the difference/ I know stoning is harsh but so is electric chair and everything else.
