it's completely implausible that with the US just itching to use its weapons, Assad would do such a thing...I mean why? Aside from all he would have to lose from a US reaction there's the question of what he could possibly gain...killing 100 children is going to advance his cause? He's going to all of a sudden win the war because he killed children?

But, on the famous other hand, the "rebels" have everything to gain if they kill the children and manage to pin it on Assad which, Trump in this case, could use to his advantage...and he did...remember the film "Wag The Dog"?

Well, we just got wagged.
