Now, I don't believe that Jesus really taught such pagan ideas but they are thrown in the mouth of Jesus. However, since Christians only take the Jesus of the New Testament as true and the only book they claim to follow is the Bible, one has no choice but to bring it as evidence. But, I of course, do not believe to be true so it really don't matter because the New Testament is not the truth about Jesus to begin with. Nevertheless, it is the "truth" for Christians and theu use the Bible as their evidence for the eucharist which is fully misunderstood and a corruption of what it really was and the first person responsible for this is Paul "the liar" as the movement of Jesus called him. If Christians take the Bible to be the true word of God, they can only get mad at themselves for believing that Jesus taught such a doctrine, but the attempt to cover this embarrassment up by saying it's not so in the Bible will not work. This subject was disbuted early on and the Christians of the Roman world were constantly attacked and criticized for this ritual by Pagans as they accused them of cannibalism.

Christians have been slandering Jesus for almost 2,000 years and trying to desperately over write the history and truth about the Jesus movement of Jerusalem which were pious Hebrew followers of Jesus who lived and died for the "law" and were unwilling to compromise or "sell out". If one is really interested in the real Jesus, one has to be willing to put the New Testament aside, clear our minds and take a look at what historians and eye witnesses of the time tell us about the followers of Jesus. By doing this, we can get a good idea of what Jesus must have been like. There are lots of writings much earlier than the New Testament which tell us a different story. There are historians, writings and other books which are much older than the New Testament and they were written by eye witnesses who were there and not some unknown authors centuries after Jesus. To really believe that the New Testament paints the true and accurate picture of Jesus is to believe that one could write a book about let's say American history, yet without mentioning the civil war, the great depression, 9/11, perl harbor and many other major events which took place in America.

The same case goes for the New Testament writers. They are completely silent about the major events taking place at the time period of before and after Jesus. This tells us that they had another agenda and they were over writing history and hiding things. The Jesus of the New Testament does not fit in the enviroment that he is placed in by the New Testament. Anyways, there is much on this subject but not eveyone is willing to be honest and take a look at that. In this case, one has no choice but to quote the Bible for evidence of the "eucharist" which Christians believe is the body of "Christ". If one rejects the New Testament as "truth", then it won't matter anymore. I know this is a lie attributed to Jesus but it is still there in the New Testament regardless if I agree with it or not. The bottom line is that Pancho has not misunderstood nor is he slandering Christianity. The problem lies with Christian scripture and this is not the fault of Pancho. Either it's there in the Bible as Christians know and Pancho showed it is or it is a lie.
