The problem is that some of the workers are made to believe that privatization, dismantling unions and tax cuts for the wealthy will benifit them. Or like a Republican in my neighborhood, who on the one hand is telling me how he's for what the governer of Wisconsin was doing to the unions, and on the other hand, reveals that if it wasn't for the union to which he belongs, he'd have no pension, no healthcare for himself and his wife, and no basic workers' rights - a position which cries out: "I got mine... fuck you!" I should add that he's an immigrant who's against other immigrants who are working hard to try to enjoy some of baisc things that he enjoys.
