I watched the movie "the message" which is about Islam and came out in 1979. The movie was made by Mustapha Akkad, who also made those Haloween movies with "Mike Myers". For an older movie, It's a nice one but what's even better is that there is nobody playing the person of Muhammad. The camera is pretty much Muhammad and the movie also had good actors such as Anthony Quinn and Irene Papas. There is an English and Arabic version made by the same producer but different actors. The English version has Anthony Quinn playing "Hamza" the uncle of Muhammad and the Arabic version has Arab actors. It's a nice movie and especially for the time it was made. I heard the son of the producer is also making a new version currently which will use better graphics and will be filmed in Saudi Arabia. Mustapha Akkad was a good producer but was killed during a terrorist bombing at a hotel in Jordan.

I thought that Islam movie was far better than the many Jesus movies I have watched throughout my life. They even made a cartoon recently which I thought was pretty cool and actually had adults into it.
