Thank you, Jeffrey. The Thursday before last, I went to a Sephardi/Mizrahi concert by an L.A. local born in Israel name, Yuval Ron. There were Jewish folks from the Yemen, Iraq, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Iran, etc., dancing Arabic dances and celebrating their wonderful, colorful cultural backgrounds from the days of the Ottomans. They also referred to me as their "Ashurian brother" as we agreed that the days of the Ottoman's were "the good old days" until the War broke out and each ethnic group got "uppity" and fooled by the Euros regarding their nationalism: Zionists, Arabists, Assyrian, Qurdish, Greek, Armenian... which benefited no one, not even the Israelis, as one Jewish woman asserted.
