You're absolutely right, we send the North Koreans food and aid, but we cut 'Meals on Wheels' for our sick and elderly. We divert funding from our public schools (thanks to Blackwater Erik Prince's sister, Betty DeVos) to private Christian madrasas who teach that Jesus was a white blue-eyed Aryan who along with his rich small-business capitalist disciples preached the "Gospel of Prosperity".
The morning after the "beautiful" 59 missiles were released into the night skies, the stocks of Raytheon (the maker of the Tomahawk missiles) surged:
"The Tomahawk missile used in the strike is made by Raytheon (RTN, +0.26%), whose stock opened 2.5% higher Friday, adding more than $1 billion to the defense contractor's market capitalization.
"The shares of other missile and weapons manufacturers, including Boeing (BA, -0.24%), Lockheed Martin (LMT, -0.19%), Northrop Grumman (NOC, +0.35%) and General Dynamics (GD, +0.21%), each rose as much as 1%, collectively gaining nearly $5 billion in market value as soon as they began trading, even as the broader market fell."
...and did I mention that Trump and family are heavily-invested in the arms industry? And for what reasons would we need our magnificent missiles that had MSNBC's Brian Williams cumming from his ass, had we no manufactured enemies?
