It all makes sense. Early tribal societies, such as we saw even recently among Native Americans, consisted in a tribal council where all adult males had a say. It couldn't have been any other way. It would take many centuries of centralization before the tribe grew too large and councils became too inefficient before a king-type leader was invented. Even the Greeks and Romans, at their most democratic stages, had a provision allowing a dictator to govern them throgh a crisis, after which they resumed their more or less representative form of rule.

It has been the bane of our existence that we valued white people at their own estimation of themselves. When we saw cold Euros we thought they had their cat together...that their pale insipid and bloodless character was a result of supreme intelligence or a sign of a highly advanced emotional control stemming from the fact that they had a profound understanding of life.. It wasn't and it still isn't. How many of us still lust for blondes who age faster and fall apart soon after their waranty expires? Including me.
