My Muslim neighbors in Tehran were so tolerant of our bigotry when my cousin and I would instigate the game of Christians and Jew against Muslims (this all started when they claimed that Jesus was only a prophet like Muhammad), so we'd attack them by pelting their yard from our upstairs balcony with charcoal, dirtying their little pool of water (called "hose" in Persian) in which they'd wash themselves before prayer, and we'd force my Jewish neighbor to be our ally (something he absolutely rejected), only afterward to attack him with charcoal, too (especially when we heard the rumor that his parents called the authorities to have our neighborhood dogs removed). We were such little racist, bigoted assholes.
