The irony here, is that the religious demographics of the Western world, particularly in Europe and Australia are shifting dramatically. Christianity specifically, is in decline. Sweden for example, has been statistically documented to be an majority Atheist/Irreligious nation, with an estimated 46% to 85%. Swedes who profess a belief in God, don't necessarily belief in the Christian Godhead, but rather a pagan one. Similar numbers can be observed in France, the Netherlands, Norway, the United Kingdom and so forth.

The most religious countries in the European Union are Greece and Balkan nations. So any attempt garnering sympathy through religious kinship is going to prove to be a difficult task. Oh, and any Assyrians who disassociates himself with his/her fellow Assyrians, simply because of the religious group they belong to or lack thereof are hypocrites. They claim that I'm disloyal to the nation, because I'm not a gullible, genuflecting, superstitious ignoramus. Who believes that a man, who was his own father and also the creator of the Universe, was nailed to some sticks in order to redeem himself for the Sins that he himself created in the first place.
