>We wish harm to no one...not even Christians. Magpie posted this appeal on screachassyria, but since no one reads over there I thought to post it here where many more will see it. You'd think it would have occured to her to do it herself...if her concern was really for the priest.

>I am compiling a list of names of those who would like to volunteer to be swab-tested to see if they can be a match for Rabi Ninos Aho who is now a candidate for marrow transplant.
>The UCLA team will go to any city in California who has volunteers ready to be tested for cheek-swab to find out if they are a match. Those found to be a match, will be selected for phase II which is to donate marrow in the desperately needed marrow transplant for Rabi Ninos.
>Serious volunteers only. Please write to me at speakassyria.com
>Please pass the word around, and post this message on all forums that you have access to. The names of serious volunteers will be compiled based on the city in which they reside.
>...dear Magpie...you know we have more readers here than the rest put together...you also know you can post here at any time..say whatever you wish and nothing will be deleted or banned. You remind me of the AID Society board which refused to auction a sculpture of mine three years ago because they don't like me...my life went on just fine, but they collected at least $10,000 less that year for their "dear umta". Saner heads prevailed and in the last two years they raised $20,000 from the sale of my sculpture...I sure as hell don't expect people to "like me" or agree with me before I'd help them...anyway, I did your job for you...I hope someone responds.
Did you lose any sleep over their sorry selves not auctioning your sculpture? I don't think the AID society is even worthy of touching those priceless sculptures. By the way I think I seen the monkey muncho today at the Atlanta zoo.
