You missed my point. I am not insulting our modern day Assyrians I'm stating that the ancients were multi-cultural, multi-reiligous and if there actually was proof that we were directly related then I'd be dissapointed as this would show that they had remained in their parochial villages instead of assimilating with the fresh wave of settlers that migrated to the Middle East.
