Everything is always "seemingly" clear AFTER the fact... Still, the fact remains that you CANNOT break the laws of the land and expect to get away with it. People living in Australia should realize that they are bound by laws that are DIFFERENT from the laws of Iraq, Syria, or any other mid-east country. So, if you decide to be ignorant of this fact, prepare to pay for the consequences.

As for KSE, it is a fact that many highly successful business people, non-Assyrians too, who have never conferred with or heard of Suzy David or Mar Meelis, fell for it too. So it is obvious that the claim that "influential" Assyrians didn't ask hard enough questions has no relevance here.

Those who made a mistake and were fooled to invest their life savings won't need to be careful of priests and lawyers in the future. Their painful experience would deter them from investing in anything again, even if there are no risks involved.

What is also important to know is that a right to APPEAL against a court's ruling does actually exist in Australia. So, the question is, why wasn't that done?

What seems difficult for people to know is that what motivates people to do what they do is always the same, and it is very natural. Which is BIAS and Prejudice. So, motivated by our bias and prejudice, we find "reasons" to play them out. We think we are doing others service and enlightening them, but in fact, we are only blinded by our bias and prejudice to the point where everything seems "perfect" to us, and a necessary thing to do. But, fortunately, there is a decider in such free countries like Australia: THE LAW. So, if you are willing to follow through with what your bias and prejudice motivates you to do, be prepared for what you never expect...
