During the Second World War America and Britain imprisoned Germans and Italians and Japanese citizens of their own countries because of "fear" that they might form a fifth column. And Britain and America were hardly attacked and occupied the way Iraq has been...and yet Iraq hasn't rounded up their own Christians to lock away, or worse. Maybe this bothers Aprim and Jatou and Jassim and the boys...maybe they'd prefer it if they could cry about Christians being put in concentration camps....maybe that's something they are "working" for....it's not as good as getting a bunch of them killed, but it's much better than hearing that Kurds are building villages or that Christians are desperate to STAY and build lives.

To these boys the worst kind of Christian is the one who cooperates and "collaborates" with the Kurds in order to survive and raise families....in other words anyone who lives as a good and loyal citizen, doesn't break the law by committing sedition and worse, is BAD...but someone who risks his life and his family's by standing aside, refusing to help and embarrassing the government by begging to the outside to come save him, is GOOD...in other words it is better to be dead than alive.

Christians are in love with death...they despise life. Their greatest gift comes to them courtesy of murder and human sacrifice. Is it any wonder?
