I was wondering the same.. I saw an interview on Bill Maher where the interviewee (don't know his name or title) was saying that Bernie had burned Colombian drug dealers, and hustled the Russian and Eastern Euro mob out of a lot of dough. I never understood why his son committed suicide, though. Could it have been part of a deal to save his mother and brother from a painful, Colombian necktie?
