...I mean, the disconnect is staggering. It would be like sending soldiers to boot camp but never EVER waking them up early, or with a "rude" bugle call...and definitely no strenuous exercise....no marching in the hot sun....certainly not with full packs...and the drill sargent must speak ever so softly and respectfully to the dears...and no loud rifle practice, after all, someone might get HURT! And then, shipping them out to WAR! THAT'S how you get an army?
