...what was funny to me when I started on these forums was an exchange with Aprim...he had been posting over and over again asking Chaldeans to provide "one document, just one, that proves you are Chaldeans"...naturally no one had thought to ask him to provide just one document to prove HE was assyrian...so I asked him...and I asked him again...and then again...and then I was banned. Oh, he did reply once that he didn't need to show any papers because "everyone knows who we are"...and then I was banned.

...another favorite "point" of his was that "everyone knows" that Catholic missionaries sent by the pope created the Chaldean identity"....well, said I, "does it surprise you so much that other missionaries invented the Assyrian identity? They did it once, you acknowledge that....why is it so inconceivable that they did it a second time"? Then I got banned again.

Actually we can thank Aprim for this site. If he could have just managed to talk these things over and be convincing, instead of calling our mothers names, we could have settled all this peaceably and all of us would have moved on.
