speaking of wiki, it's not just hysteria when it comes to Assyrians. You should read their article about Bosnian history and you would have the impression that Fred Aprim wrote it. The dweeb who wrote it is no doubt an amateur, not a historian. He claims Bosnians were basically forced to convert because of inhumane taxes. There is no records of Ottomans ever charging people super high taxes. If that were so, how come only Bosnians converted? Actually from what i read about Ottomans is that they were tolerant and even offered non-Muslims good jobs within the government. There weren't any reasons to converts just for jobs or to avoid taxes. By the way, Assyrians use that same argument about why most Nestorians left Christianity. i would like to ask the dweeb on wiki if the fighting between Orthodox and Catholics may have had something to do with Bosnians converting to Islam, and not because of pressure. Maybe they didn't want no part in that and saw Islam more appealing. Why is that so hard to believe? We're talking abouta time where people still believed the earth was flat so why wouldn't people join something which seemed better than what they had and for that time period?

Same thing could be said about the Nestorians and other Christians of Middle East. Maybe they saw something more easy and there were no constant wars over the natur eover Jesus, which bible is correct, god, etc. I don't believe aboiding jizya was the reason for conversion because Muslims also pay tax. Jizya is even better than Zakat(Muslim tax) because only the working men have to pay it and only those who can afford to pay it and are of military ages. Every Muslim who can afford it has to pay zakat and both genders. So why convert and now you're wife has to pay too? This reason alone proves that such authors are janitors and a bunch of amateur fucks who don't know what they talking about. If they believ this, it means they really don't have simple information on Islam.

Yeah, I avoid wiki as much as I can.
