...well said.

In truth Doolittle's raid on Tokyo in WW II was a suicide mission, plain and simple....especially when the flotilla was spotted early by the Japanese and the planes were sent off miles further than originally planned...which meant very few if any would make it all the way to China after bombing Tokyo...and many pilots were lost at sea and crash landed and many were executed by the Japanese parts of China...these "suicide bombers" have always been regarded as heroes, defending their country at any cost.
