All this sensitivity, respect and days or months of honor toward certain people emerged only after some atrocity was committed. Black pride or nationalism emerged as a reaction from the injustice and persecution by christians and whites just as communism was a reaction to capitalism. You have to become a victim first before they give you a day to remember you or you get the privilege of not being made fun of or the holocaust denied. Now even words like "gay" or "fag" can no longer be used in ever day speech because of sensitivity and rightly so. Gays are the latest group to receive rights and they now can to relax and not worry so much about being made fun of even though they are still despised in society. Muslims have gotten the worst by the media and that's because christians have bigger hatred toward it right now. It is amazing what can say on fox news about islam and get away with it.
