….people who feel threatened by and at the mercy of their captors wind up identifying with them as a means of survival. It might work, then again it might not...you could wind up kissing a lot of ass only to be killed anyway...maybe because you don't really fool anyone or become even more irritating...still, it's the only hope you think you have.
