an interesting election...

Republicans won big...but that's like saying if there was an election held 10,000 years ago, cannibals would have won big over those who thought there must be a better way....times are changing towards a progressive era even though there's a push to hold the brakes and even run back to yesteryear...it's to be expected...the majority see Gays getting married and pot legalized and they don't like the changes...so they dig their heels in...but, they're on the wrong side of history.

A bright spot in these elections is that a few states passed a raise in the minimum wage plus paid sick-leave....the progressiveness of the future may not come from any Congress or the president but from people petitioning and voting in their own best interest..like the corporations get our politicians to do in THEIR best interest.

That's a hidden beauty and strength of our Constitution....people can, all on their own, vote to better their lives DIRECTLY, not through bought-and-paid-for politicians.

The people can decide many things for themselves, if they choose to. This is an empire, like the Roman and British before it, but it's a Fascist Empire, which means it gets its strength from fooling people into voting FOR the Ruling Class...it can't simply mandate it, like the Caesars and Kings of old...if the people refuse to be fooled, they can bring their government into line with their best interests...
