Don't you see that your response was a complete joke? Like do you read what you write?

...this was a wasted sentence...stick to the subject at hand.

The authors I spoke of are scholars..they spent their lives studying in these fields unlike your buddy who isn't even an expert in yous field therefore whatever he publishes is purely his opinion nothing more or less.

...sorry, not so. Once again I say that the time-period we are dealing with is the Modern Era, not ancient Assyria....experts in ancient Assyria or even archaeologists have no standing in modern MidEast history..it is not their area of expertise....this is relevant because until the Modern Era, that is the 19th century AD we Nestorians and others NEVER claimed to be descendants of the ancient Assyrians....never. In fact I'd like you to bring us just ONE referrence to ourselves as descendants of the ancient Assyrians before the 19th century...just one.

The people I mentioned above aren't just archeologists and they didn't just speak of ancient Assyrians...but they wrote how ancient Assyrians are the direct descendants of the modern ones.

...thy can "write" anything they want to...but they are writing outside their field of expertise...Dr Joseph too can "write" about a lot of things, but he sticks to his professional and academic field of expertise.

My friend I didn't even know that there were still people who said Assyrians are extinct...because most people who did are either dead or they're living in their 8th decade and are about to die very soon.

....no one has ever said ancient Assyrians completely disappeared....that is a straw-dog argument made by our own people to "prove" that those who say Assyrians no longer exist are silly and wrong...what experts have said, such as George Roux, is that ancient Assyrians forgot their language and soon their identity, (you know, like your mother warned you NOT to do)...when they forgot they "disappeared"...they did not disappear as biological entities, their genes lived on and mixed and matched as had been going on for centuries in those regions, but their CONSCIOUS knowledge of who they were "disappeared"...and you know this is a real possibility because your mother warned you NOT TO FORGET YOUR LANGUAGE...or else, what? You'd "forget who you are" and then "disappear".

..if they had bothered to translate their history and culture from Akkadian, the actual language of the Assyrians, into their new Aramaic, they would have remained conscious of their identity...but they didn't.

And Mr publisher...your friend over here wrote his silly book back in 1961 under the name "Nestorians and their Muslim neighbours"....he reprinted his silly book again under a whole complete different title although his content was changed at all....I suppose to attract Assyrian customers.

...there are few assyrian customers for his book...and he did add new material....there is much you don't understand..."silly" books do not get published by Princeton University Press...or Brill Publisher...they get PRINTED by Cambria and Tatavia, which will print ANYTHING, so long as you pay....real publishers publish at THEIR expense, so they are very careful NOT to publish "silly books" as your two doctors produced...they had to go to the Vanity Press industry to get their "books" PRINTED.

You know what was so funny? How he mentioned in his book that it was the 19th century excavations in Nineveh that convinced the "Nestorians" that they're Assyrians....you know what's funny? How he failed to know that nestorians didn't even live in Nineveh..but they lived far in the mountains of Hakkari in south east turkey and several hundred kilometers away from Nineveh

...not true. There were Christians living in the Mosul area...that was all it took....and further, long before any thought of being Assyrian came to them, the Nestorians were convinced by missionaries sent by Rome that they were Chaldeans...at least they were called that if they gave up Nestorius and came back to the Catholic faith..out of jealousy those Nestorians who did not re-convert, decided they too would become "Chaldeans"...so you had Chaldean Catholics and Chaldean Nestorins long before the "Assyrian" identity was discovered...after which the Nestorian Chaldeans decided they would rather be unique, so they switched to Assyrian...like the Nestorian Church of the East dropped thw word Nestorian in favor of Assyrian...in 1976, barely 40 years ago...it took them that long to "realize" they were Assyrians too.

He also failed to explain how the Assyrian identity wasn't only claimed by Nestorians....but by hundreds of thousands of Jacobites (Syriac Orthodox) as well. In fact the fathers of modern Assyrian nationalism weren't even nestorians....Naum Faiq who's called "The father of Assyrian nationalism" was a syriac orthodox from Tur Abdin

...it was claimed by a lot of people but ALL of them Christians...and why not? These Christian sects wanted to be a "nation"...because that was the only hope of getting a country of their own...it was a silly thought but there you have it...sure they wanted to be anything BUT Christian Arabs....so they "became" Assyrians and Chaldeans...why not?

He created the very first Assyrian news paper called "Huyodo" which means "unity" in the western Assyrian (Aramaic) dialect

...you can call Aramaic "western Assyrian" if you like...but it has nothing to do with the actual Assyrian language, which was Akkadian, the language of cuneiform...we have all sorts of people SAYING and WRITING all sorts of nonsense...so?

This magazine is still printed in Sweden under the same name.

How about Ashur Yousef who's also a syriac orthodox...he was killed by the ottomans during Seyfo (Assyrian genocide)...he created the first Assyrian News Paper. How about Farid Nazha...they were all Assyrian nationalists and they weren't Nestorians but Jacobites.

...as I said, many Christians decided to become Assyrians, as others became Chaldeans, but only after the 19th century...I still ask you to produce ONE person or written matter that calls himself or itself Assyrian BEFORE the 19th century.....please do.

Till this day a large number of the Jacobites are very proud Assyrians...they call themselves "Suryoye Othuroye" (Syriac Assyrians)...they also have Assyrian political parties such as the Assyrian Democratic Organization (ADO), or "Gabo D'Furkono D'Othur" (Free Assyria Party)...and many many many more

...that proves nothing...I can stick a feather in my head and say I am an Apache Indian....saying things doesn't make them so....not where scholarship and academia is concerned.

They have a TV channel that Broadcasts in the western Assyrian dialect it's called Assyria TV you should check it out

...they can carve it on their foreheads.....doesn't mean a thing.
