...version might as well debate the flatness of the earth...it is a totally meaningless book EXCEPT as a chronicle of how unwise and backward humans once were....and anyone (Maggie) who sees "bagpipes" in ancient Assyria should not be trusted with anything historical.....just hysterical.

note: guys, it's been years now...can we put this to bed? As in who gives a shit! However, I do agree with Paul that too many of us want to believe that everything started with the Assyrians...it did not, but enough did.
