We hear this all the time and they like to include Chaldeans and Suryoye as well when "unity" is mentioned. Others aside, let's just talk about "Assyrians" for a moment. Are they united? they have a leader? don't they fight among the COE between the shawa byarkha and the twenty fivers? Yet they want to add others as well? Who would be their leader even if this "unity" was achieved? Kanna the civil engineer by qualification or Dadeesho with his "degree" yet a foe to Kanna? Or maybe the politician/historian/author, Fred Aprim? They can't agree on anything, they lack manpower, courage and requirements yet on top of all they want a kind of unity that is impossible. Comparing Kanna or Dadeesho to a real politician such as Tariq Azis is like comparing a high school dropout to a doctor. They don't have real politicians, historians, except Joseph, and have no understanding of basic dictionaries. Kurds don't sit around boasting about being "first humans" or whatever but rather fought for their land.
